Md. Faruk Hossain, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Finance in the Department of Business Administration at Chandpur Science and Technology University. He earned his PhD in Finance from the University of Dhaka, where his doctoral thesis examined “Corporate Governance Reforms, Family Control, and Firm Performance.” In his academic portfolio, he secured 3^rd merit position in both BBA and MBA programs.

His primary research interests lie in Corporate Governance, Corporate Finance, and Board Dynamics. He has presented his research at numerous prestigious international conferences, including the Entrepreneurship, SMEs Development and Management (ICESMD) Conference, the 9^th Asian Business Research Conference, the International Conference on Business and Economics, the 2^nd International Conference on Business and Economics, and the 13^th Asian Business Research Conference.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Hossain has published several scholarly articles in international peer-reviewed journals, including contributions to top-ranked journals such as Asian Business & Management. His research on corporate governance and board dynamics has gained international recognition. Further to this, he has served as a reviewer for esteemed indexed journals, including Corporate Governance and the Journal of Family Business Management.
