Md. Abu Rumman Refat is a Lecturer in the Department of Information and Communication Technology at Chandpur Science and Technology University (CSTU), Chandpur, Bangladesh, where he joined on August 11, 2025. Prior to this, he served as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Green University of Bangladesh (GUB), Dhaka. He brings over four years of full-time teaching experience at various private universities, where he actively contributed to outcome-based curriculum development, academic research, and student mentorship.

Mr. Refat holds an M.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology from Islamic University (IU), Bangladesh. He has authored more than eight research articles published in reputed journals and international conferences. His notable publications encompass areas such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Healthcare Data Analysis. His research interests primarily focus on Deep Learning applications in Medical Image Analysis and Healthcare Data Analytics.
