Sohel Rana is a Lecturer in the Department of Information and Communication Technology at Chandpur Science and Technology University. He joined the department on April 30, 2023. He has over six years of full-time teaching experience at various private universities in Bangladesh, bringing a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise in ICT education and research. Before joining here, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Bangladesh Army University of Science and Technology (BAUST), Saidpur Cantonment, where he played a significant role in outcome-based educational curriculum development, academic research, and student mentorship.

S. Rana pursued his MSc. Engineering degree under the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET). He has published more than 10 research articles in various reputed journals and conferences. His research interests are in the fields of Data Mining and Machine Learning, and he is committed to contributing to the academic and technological advancements of the university.
